In the naval defence area, Saab is researching and developing capabilities with modelling and simulation, hardware assessments, architectural studies and investigating new applications for combat management, ship control and command support systems. For example Saab is using Open Architecture technology to integrate new sensor technologies and systems in collaboration with partner companies and the Department of Defence.
