In an industry that deals in high technology military systems, and where the best minds in the country help develop the best solutions, Saab Technologies Australia stands out because of our ability to work effectively with our many stakeholders.
Just as interoperability and networking are the keys to the future of military systems, we see our focus on the people behind the systems, our customers, our employees, our stakeholders and our collaborative partners as key to all aspects of our operations. Feedback from customers and collaborative partners is often very positive, but it is rewarding to have quantifiable evidence to support this. For example, we are very proud of the outstanding performance rating we achieved on the ANZAC class ships combat systems through the ANZAC Ship Integrated material support Project Alliance (ASIPA). Our ‘whole of life’ commitment to clients is a core strength of our business — providing the best products and ensuring they perform as required, when required. Our global vision is to be the preferred partner in C4I systems. Operating in a ‘customer centric’ way is vital to achieving this vision. |

Saab is one of the few systems integration companies in Australia with depth in sensor fusion, track correlation and fire control decision aids, and possibly the only company of scale with indigenous intellectual property and capability in these fields. Whilst we have seen a trend towards use of USA FMS as a buying channel, we are still one of the few companies in Australia that can take on complex systems engineering projects for mission critical systems.
Our business philosophy is to focus on people; creating the right environment for growth and prosperity and maintaining high professional standards. The company’s path will be to reinforce core business and competencies while broadening the business to adjacent markets and championing innovation for long term growth. The four key principles of the business are performance management, leadership, organisational communication and cultural enhancement.
We try to keep to sustainable environmental principles, reduce our carbon footprint where practical and minimise waste. Saab actively supports our community, giving assistance and participating with sporting and charitable organisations to build a better world. For our future, we promote engineering and science in schools and offer tertiary sponsorships and graduate programs as well as take an active role in industry forums.
